अमर धन है अपनी आशा

कभी दुखी हो जाओ गर, नहीं होना पर तुम कभी निराश।
उदय सूर्य निश्चित है , चाहे कितना भी हो कृष्ण आकाश।।

तिमिर मेघ को भेद करने, एक किरण रवि की काफ़ी है।
अँधकार का नहीं वजूद, इक लौ दीपक की साक्षी है।।

अमर धन है अपनी आशा, जलता रहने दो इसका प्रकाश।
बुझने मत देना इस दीप्ती को, बिन उम्मीद नर इक ज़िंदा लाश।।

हिम्मत रख खुद में थोड़ी सी, खोना धैर्य कभी न तू।
अधीन होकर हताशा के, हार मान लटकाना मत मुँह।।

आज का दिन नहीं था अच्छा, होगा कल फिर आज से बेहतर।
नया सवेरा साथ अपने, लाएगा कल नए अवसर।।

संजोकर ‘मानस’ आत्मविश्वास, बाँधे रख साहस और आस।
साध विजय का संकल्प , और नव-तैजस से कर पुनः प्रयास।।

English Transliteration

Amar Dhan Hai Apni Asha

Kabhi dukhi ho jaao gar, nahi hona par tum kabhi niraash,
Uday surya ka nischit hain, chahe kitna bhi ho krishna akash…

Timir megh ko bhed karne, ek kiran ravi ki kaafi hain,
Andhkaar ka nahi vajood, ik lau deepak ki saakshi hain…

Amar dhan hain apni aasha, jalta rehne do iska prakash,
Bujhne mat dena is dipti ko, bin umeed nar zinda laash…

Himmat rakh khud mein thodi si, khona dhairya kabhi na tu,
Adheen ho kar hataasha ke, haar maan latkaana mat muh…

Aaj ka din nahi tha accha, hoga kal fir aaj se behtar,
Naya savera saath apne, laayega kal naye avsar…

Sanjokar ‘Manas’ aatmavishwas, baandhe rakh sahas aur aas,
Saadh vijay ka sankalp, aur nav taijas se kar punahah prayaas…

Our Hope is the Immortal Wealth

If you get sad at some point of time, never ever become hopeless.
[Rise of the sun] (“hindi poem on morning sunrise”) is inevitable, irrespective of howsoever black the sky is…

In order to pierce a dark cloud, even one ray of sun is sufficient.
Apparently there is no existence of darkness ; even a tiny flame of lamp is the evidence of it.

Our Hope is the Immortal Wealth; keep it’s light ignited.
Do not let this light be extinguished, for a man, devoid of hope, is an alive orpse.

By keeping some grit in your self, you should never lose courage .
Becoming subservient of hopelessness, you mustn’t, by accepting defeat, hung our face…

If today wasn’t that good, then tomorrow will definitely be better.
Novel dawn will bring with it tomorrow, novel opportunities…

By treasuring self confidence, keep the mettle and hope sustained.
Undertake a resolution of victory, and with novel valor, put forth our effort again…
